The Dooryard Garden Candle

During the Colonial Era, the dooryard garden was conveniently planted right outside the threshold of the home. It provided easy access to herbs, vegetables, and florals for daily nourishment and comfort. This scent captures the feel of an early summer day spent near the soil with notes of sun-drenched tomato leaves and mint and the herbal aroma of rosemary and wild sage. A touch of lemon verbena rounds this scent out.

Two candle sizes offered: 
Large - 16 oz. mason jar
Small - 8 oz. mason jar

Candle Care:

Your new candle will arrive with a pre-trimmed wick.  Following the first burn, please remember to trim the wick before each burn for a cleaner burning candle and to minimize soot.  Candles have a burn memory so to prevent tunneling, remember to burn your candle for 4 hours on the first burn. 

All candles are handcrafted in Michigan. All of my candles are handmade with all-natural soy wax, phthalate-free fragrance oils, and cotton wicks.  I hand pour each of my candles in small batches from my home in Michigan.  I am happy to say that these are truly clean candles and they are made from American grown soy.
